Indicator 1

The Scam begins with a Robo Call or Cold call from a person claiming to be Medicare Representative or an Insurance Company.

Indicator 2

They claim to be Updating your Medicare coverage and offer you FREE coverage and Supplies.

Indicator 3

They will require your Medicare Number and Personal identification.

Indicator 4

Once this happens you will be transferred to an Insurance Agent who will attempt to sell Medical equipment or Supplemental Policies.

Indicator 5

Your Medicare number will then be used fraudulently to purchase supplies and make Fake Claims to Medicare.

Indicator 6

When looking for Supplemental Insurance to Medicare contact Medicare directly for Agents in your area.

NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR MEDICARE NUMBER TO ANYONE BUT YOUR PHYSICIAN! MEDICARE WILL NEVER CALL YOU!
