The Scam begins with a Robo Call or Cold call from a person claiming to be Medicare Representative or an Insurance Company. Indicator 2
They claim to be Updating your Medicare coverage and offer you FREE coverage and Supplies. Indicator 3
They will require your Medicare Number and Personal identification. Indicator 4
Once this happens you will be transferred to an Insurance Agent who will attempt to sell Medical equipment or Supplemental Policies. Indicator 5
Your Medicare number will then be used fraudulently to purchase supplies and make Fake Claims to Medicare. Indicator 6
When looking for Supplemental Insurance to Medicare contact Medicare directly for Agents in your area. Warning
